Wind Storms Left Damages Around Frisco TX

by Loreena Yeo on October 23, 2011

The wind storms and hail left damages all over Frisco TX. The storms hit around 1:00am on Sunday morning (10/23/2011).

At the crack of dawn, here’s what we found in our backyard. My favorite tree – weeping willow in my backyard was uprooted, toppled the fence and laid restfully on top of my neighbor’s newly planted Red Oak.

This weeping willow sits beautifully anchoring the edge of my backyard for 7 years now. When I first bought her, it was about October 2004. I bought a pair of 10ft weeping willow “twigs”. Brought them home in a little Honda Civic.

Over the years, the weeping willow became great anchors for my backyard. Even this Summer, my 3 1/2 year old son has been hanging on the tree branches.

We will miss our weeping willow. Already talking about replacing with another.

Today will be a great day to walk around your house to see if the storms did other damages besides the roof and landscaping and fence.
