State Fair of Texas begins TODAY!

Everyone in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area look forward to this every year. As a resident of Frisco TX, we too look forward for the State Fair of Texas to start. Today is the official start day of State Fair of Texas. This event runs from September 28th until October 21st. There are all sorts of events, activities, attractions, entertainment, exhibitions for all ages and not to forget all the yummy fair food. If you have been to the State Fair, you know that every year, fair goers are anxious to try the year’s Fair Food. This year the winner for Best Taste is Deep Fried Jambalaya and the Most Creative Fried Bacon Cinnamon Roll. Don’t forget to try them.


General admission:  $16.
Seniors ages 60 and over:  $12.
Children age 3 up to 48″ in height: $12.
Children age 2 and under – Free.
Seniors 60 & over FREE on Thursdays (October 4, 11, 18)

For parking information, tune to AM 1650 for information. The State Fair charges $15 for parking on the State Fair Ground. Make sure to look for the official sign.
