Recap of Summer activities for your Kids in and about Frisco TX

Every Summer, parents wonder what can they do to keep the kids busy. Some may take a family vacation, some send their kids to visit grandparents or do both. Let’s face it. Summer can be long if the children are not filled with fun activities to help them get through the day. Here are the list that I found while trying to figure out what to do with my own kids. Some of the activities are in Frisco TX and some are just within driving distance.

  • The Frisco Sci-Tech Discovery Center
  • Frisco public library.  There are tons of programs and a reading challenge as well.
  • $1 Movie (Coit/ Park)
  • Jump Street
  • Dallas or Fort Worth Zoo
  • Fossil Hunting at North Sulfur River
  • Frisco Mountain Bike Trail (North of Panther Creek and Teel Parkway)
  • Top Golf
  • Frisco Fire Safety Town. This is a free event every Friday in the Summer.
  • Strikz (Half-price Tuesdays)
  • Cowboys Stadium Tours
  • Rangers Ballpark Tours
  • Ride UP Reunion Observation Tower
  • Perot Museum
  • George Bush Presidential Library & Museum
  • Fort Worth Stockyards Cattle Drive (Daily at 11:30am and 4pm)
  • Frisco Concert in the Park (Historic Park Gazebo & Lawn every Thursday night from 6/20 – 8/22) FREE
  • Music in the Square (Frisco Square every Friday Night in June)
  • Summer Rhythms by the Lake (Little Elm Park Amphitheater every Friday night in June 8pm)
  • July Jazz in Beckert Park (Addison) Free – Saturdays 8pm
  • Live on the Green at Watters Creek (First Thursday & Every Saturday through 9/5) FREE
  • Hope Park at Frisco Commons
  • Frisco Athletic Center Water Park
  • Hawaiian Falls
