Although Providence Village is now recognized on the map, it is not a “town”. Providence Village is located in an unincorporated area of Denton County. Because Providence Village is not located in any city limits, there is no city tax. The Fire Protection is provided by the Town of Aubrey Fire Department and Police Protection by the Denton County Sheriff’s Department.
Providence Village encompass a large area in Denton county. Fish Trap Road separates Providence Village into 2 school districts. To the south of Fish Trap Road, school children attends the Denton Independent school district. To the north, Aubrey Independent school district governs.
