Learn how to make a rain barrel

The City of Frisco is big on being green and conservation. The city puts out weekly report on  the amount of rain and recommend the amount of watering that is required that week. The city also offer WaterWise program to help all residents to educate them about water usage.

One of the WaterWise program that they city offer is hosting varieties of workshop. These workshop covers different of water saving techinques and conservation principles to help preserve and protect our valuable water source.

One of workshop is learning the basics of rainwater harvesting. The workshop will provide instruction on how to construct a 55-gallon rain barrel and discuss installing an efficient irrigation system.

There is a cost and space is limited to 50 participants. So, hurry up and sign up. The cost is $50. This will cover the cost of the rain barrel and materials. To register, complete the form online.
