Home Depot Kids Workshop

This is a free workshop for kids age 5 to 12 years of age. The hands-on workshop is held every first Saturday of the month at all Home Depot store. My son and I enjoyed going to the workshop. Each week, the workshop features different projects. So far we have done a couple of workshops, a planter, a fuss ball box, a pen organizer, a periscope, a Home Depot race car, pencil box and many more.

At the end of the workshop, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin. The pin shows what workshop the child has completed. Besides being a fun  event for the child , they get to learn do-it-yourself skills, tool safety, following  instructions and help to instill a sense of accomplishment.

The next Kids Workshop will on Saturday May 5th. The project will be building an planter. Your kids will learn how to build an planter to perfect for planting flowers for Mother’s Day.

This looks like a fun localism event for the kids. An orange apron is a plus!
