Frisco TX Memorial Day Observance

The City of Frisco partnering with the Frisco Garden Club and Frisco VFW Post 8273 will be hosting a Memorial Day Observance on Monday. The event will be held on May 27 at 9 a.m. at the Frisco Commons, 8000 McKinney Road.

The observance event features a traditional flag and wreath-laying ceremony, patriotic music from the Frisco Chorale and the Frisco Community Band, and participation from local scouts and Civil Air Patrol Cadets. The guest speaker for this year event is Lt. Col. (Ret.) Barry Bridger, a highly decorated United States Air Force veteran and survivor of six years in Vietnam’s infamous “Hanoi Hilton” prison camp.

This is a free event to the public. Parking at Frisco Common is limited but there are additional parking at the adjacent lot that is within walking distance. Come early as there will be limited seats for the public. Bring your own chairs or blankets
