Frisco TX Gary Burns Fun Run This Saturday 10/29/2011

The Frisco Education Foundation is hosting the annual Gary Burns Fun Run to benefit the Frisco Education Foundation scholarship fund. There is still time to register for the race – even on Run Day.

The Gary Burns Fun Run begins at 7:00am – 8:00am on Race Day at Frisco Square. The race will begin at 8:00am.

The Frisco Education Foundation offers financial assistance to help maximize Frisco Independent School District (Frisco ISD) students’ potential through education programs, student scholarships, and grants for innovative educators.

The Gary Burns was established in memory of Frisco Fire Chief – Gary Burns who passed away in 1999. Now Frisco ISD students will get to enrich their lives through these scholarship opportunities.
For Participants:
For walkers, strollers and slow runners are encourage to start at the back of the group. Also, do not stop in the middle of the race. Please step to right if you want to stop or slow down.

The 5K Run will be timed via Chronotrack D-Tags. The tag will be picked up at the same time you pick up your packet.

Park at the east side of the Pizza Hut Soccer Stadium if you arrive before 7:00am. After 7am, with traffic close on Frisco Street, park on the west side of the Pizza Hut Soccer Stadium (Gold parking).

Even join for the event even if you are not planning to run/ walk. It’s a fun event to see Frisco comes together as a city.
