Frisco ISD contracts Collin CAD for Property Tax Billing

Attention Frisco TX homeowners: Depending on which county you live in (Denton or Collin), you will have 1 less property tax bill mailed to you.

The Frisco Independent School District contracted the Collin County Tax Appraisal District to bill its school taxes.

Hence, if you live in Collin County (City of Frisco or surrounding cities with Frisco ISD), you will have 1 Property Tax bill to pay for the 2013 tax year and after. This will include City of Frisco taxes, Collin County taxes, Collin College taxes, and Frisco ISD school taxes.

If you live in Denton County (City of Frisco or surrounding cities with Frisco ISD), you will have 2 Property Tax bill to pay.
One to the Denton County Tax District to include City of Frisco taxes, Denton County taxes and the other to Collin County Tax District for Frisco ISD school taxes.

The property taxes is due January 31 before late charges are accessed. So, be sure to mail it before then.

If your property taxes are paid through your mortgage payment, your lender should have the correct information to mail the tax bills to. If you receive a copy of the property tax bills, it is for your information only.
