Evidence of Spring in Frisco TX homes

by Mike Yeo on March 21, 2011

I am a rose enthusiast. At my high point, I had 88 rose bushes in my 1st home. It was at a corner and that house was a show-stopper. Visitors would come to smell the roses in my garden.

Today, I live in my 2nd home now. Although I still love roses, I only have less than 20 in my garden now. 88 rose bushes were ALOT to care for. I used to get up at 6am every Saturday morning to spray and keep them healthy and fungicide-free.

Roses peak its first blooms at the end of April and again in October. What does this have to do with real estate? Well, curb appeal is what is has to do. The first impression matters. Colors makes the house lively and tells the buyer that the seller takes good care of the house. So, if you are selling your house, plant some colors to bring some live to attract buyers.

I love having a flower garden to look at. Here are what’s blooming in my lovely Frisco TX home garden:

Irises, Lamb’s Ears, Salvias, Clematis, Daylilies are great complement plants to a Rose Garden.
My irises are also in full bloom now.

Here’s a view of my garden prior to the Rose Blooms.

My favorite part of the garden – The Japanese Garden.

One of the most important things to me is having curb appeal in my home. Plants, stones and statutes help me achieve the look I want. The most cool part about having a garden is that it will look different year to year.
Ya never know what’s in store for you just around the corner…..
