Daylight savings begun on the second Sunday of March and end on the first Sunday of November. In March, clocks are moved forward one hour from 2 am standard time to 3 am daylight savings time (or DST), and in November, clocks are moved back one hour from 2 am DST to 1 am standard time. Most of you know the phrase “spring forward, fall back”. That is a helpful way to remember what to do during these time changes.
The good thing is that if you forget to change your time, you will be early to everything that day.
Another good practice during this change of time is also to check the battery in your fire alarm and carbon monoxide monitor. The best is to change the batteries out. Do this when the time change again in March.
