City of Frisco Remembers 9/11

by Loreena Yeo on September 10, 2011

The City of Frisco and the Frisco Garden club are hosting a Remembrance Service honoring some of those who died that tragic day, September 11th.

A decade has passed but it has not made it any easier.

Although Frisco TX was not directly impacted by this tragedy, we are remembering this day at Freedom Meadows located at Warren Sports Complex, off Eldorado Parkway.

The Remembrance service is set to begin at 6pm Sunday 9/11/2011 at the presence of Frisco’s Mayor Maso, the assistant Police chief, John Bruce, as well as other police and firefighters. The school children and scouts will also participate in this service.

There will be a Water Salute by the Frisco firefighters and all attendees will be give some wildflower seeds to scatter onto the field in memory of lives that were lost that day.

Join us as we remember and never forget.
